FIRST RESPONDER (FR)
Usually the first EMS provider on scene
whose role is to stabilize the patient until
more advanced EMS personnel arrive. |

General patient
assessment
-
Emergency care such as
bleeding control, spinal immobilization,
oxygen administration, the use of the
automated external defibrillator (AED),
and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

OUR MISSION
The mission of the Cochran Hose Company is to improve
the quality of life
within our fire protection area, by providing
high quality emergency fire service,
an excellent fire
prevention program, including public education and fire
investigation, and a fire fighting force capable of
handling all types of emergencies.
The Department will
accomplish this mission while maintaining a high
standard of
training and education, maintaining fire
department facilities and apparatus, and interacting
professionally with other area departments.

Photo Submissions
The Cochran Hose Company is always looking for
Photo Submissions related to our Department, both still and video
photography. We are interested in vintage as well as fresh
material. Although we cannot pay for any photographs or video
submitted,
we would give you proper photo credit for photos and video we use.
Digital photographs can be emailed with all pertinent information
to: webmaster@cochranhose.org
Disks, CDs, DVDs, tapes and paper prints may be
dropped off at the fire department on Monday evenings or anytime the
doors are open.
